I would stick with OpenOffice. The faster cycle is not possible without 
money coming from Oracle. Currently, most of the work is done by its 
employees anyway. We should also remember that some part of Oracle's 
code remains closed. So although they are supported by such companies as 
Canonical, Red Hat or Google, they will not last long.
