I will reboot and remove the parameter later.  I simply hit <ESC> when I
saw the splash screen and watched the output.

This is my main home computer, so I am not using cooker.  I did not see
the 3.0 kernel in the main repository.  Can I just install the single
RPM or are there a lot of new dependencies versus the 2.6.38 series?
