Those crashes are important and my friend is complaining about some of 
those.

Well.. firstly, you can't push it to backports as backports are STILL 
not open (board, wtf? who is responsible?!) and secondly, yes it would 
be better to release it as an update (too many crashing bugs and also 
some of the features will make life easier).
