This may be similar to the problem I had with alpha2 ...

which was due to a urpmi cascade failure once the first transaction
failed.
Juan, review the /root/drakx/install.log to see what failed.
You can use any live cd/dvd, such as knoppix, to boot the system,
and then chroot into the partially updated system to remove the
package(s) causing the conflict, then run the install again.
