Yeah this is just at the end of the startup tasks. The only reason it
sits here rather than doing anything is that X is supposed to start and
take over, but it fails.

We cannot show a nicer warning here as it seems KDM does not exit (or if
it does it doesn't exit with an error).

If it were to exit with an error you would be shown a nice message about
how your graphical display was broken.


I'll reply on the other branch of the thread about the real problem.
