Hi,

maybe this feed-back is helpful for you.

It seems that Mageia always brings up new trouble every time I am
re-visiting it. I was trying to keep it running on an external HDD just
to keep exploring it. I guess this is what you hope to get from
interested users.

What happened last time I don't remember. It was really hard work
(searching around in forums etc.) to get the system running again.

This time there are at least two problems:

- Screen going black after 7 or 8 seconds - - darkness for about 5
seconds - - okay for 7 or 8 seconds - - darkness again - - - - and so on.

- It seems impossible to set up WiFi (it was working smoothly last time
I logged into Mageia!) - I searched everything, but found no place where
to just type in the PIN and get going. So there is no chance to update
Mageia...

This is not working for me at all. Ubuntu is not perfect, but seems to
be much more "accessible". I do not have time left for any more
experiments with your system. Goodbye.

A potentially interested, but now tired user from Germany
