I assume you mean it's still being used as development for apps.


iinm we decided to drop qt3 support in MGA1 already, but we still maintain LSB 
compliance. so i suppose if you install a third party app that uses it, it 
could still work.

nevertheless, there has been requests of maintaining trinity, but it had to be 
properly maintained and qt3 also, which proved to be too much for these 
persons.

i would say, if you really want to, you'd have to maintain it all yourself (or 
you'd have to get enough volunteers) and had to guarantee it would not conflict 
with qt4 and have security updates and you'd have to fix all the bugs, 
essentially, you'd be the single upstream and downstream...

imho it's too much for a single person, so it's not very likely it's gonna get 
in there.
