IMHO that, even when Mandrake was Gael's "baby", it was more than a decade ago.

Today, Mandriva / Mageia are far from that "baby" they were once. So,
Gael's participation is not "crucial" nor "critical". However, no one
can deny that he can contribute very interesting things.

He is welcome to join Mageia, as everyone. After all, Gael was, once,
Mandrake's father. And he's part of Mandriva / Mageia history.
