Top left or bottom left. Simple, related to mageia name and a smart representation of the M letter.

Other logos focusing on the M letter tend to make me think to Mac Donald, Olympique de Marseille, la Marque Jaune or Mozilla.

And please no compass ! It had been so over-used that it is definitively threadbare.
