And stating that "All the people, I've been in contact with ... were
quite happy with it." is just as meaningless. Neither statement is an
accurate representation of the feelings of the community as a whole.
And regardless of any feelings about it, it -is- our logo; the choice
has been made.

I've noticed that many of the non-native English speakers have a
tendency to express their opinions in broad, absolute terms. Even
those of us who are native English speakers can get sloppy with our
choice of words. Misunderstanding often ensues. Some of that may be
cultural, some of that may be an artifact of  translation and some may
be intentional; it is impossible to distinguish between the two,
especially in text messages.

That makes having a productive debate difficult and frustrating. I
continue develop an appreciation for reading past the rhetoric (and
the grammar and syntax) to find the authentic message within.
