Well, I wasn't successful either. However, I learnt a lot when trying to 
test, so I don't consider it to be time wasted.

BTW, the user guide (including sample configurations) and other 
information about siproxd that I found here: 
http://siproxd.sourceforge.net/  might be helpful to anyone else who 
wants to try.
