[Mageia-discuss] How not to break a thread when posting onto mageia mailing lists?

I'm sorry : I have never found a way to post a reply to a post without
having this reply creating a new thread with the same subject name !

I only read the posts in archives
(https://mageia.org/pipermail/mageia-dev/) ... not to be overwhelmed by
mails that I'm not concerned with, I choosed not to receive all the
mails from the lists:

Sometimes I want to reply to a post in a thread, and Thunderbird can't
use the whole information from the page displayed by Firefox:
exemple given :
Clicking on the link in the message (whose codesource is
mailto:mageia-dev%40mageia.org?Subject=Re%3A%20%5BMageia-dev%5D%20texi2html&In-Reply-To=%3CCAL%2BdqvDABDg6Nkcqua-_uoBYc%3DzohuUyH-3SecWF5FnwOOTxEw%40mail.gmail.com%3E
<mailto:mageia-dev%40mageia.org?Subject=Re%3A%20%5BMageia-dev%5D%20texi2html&In-Reply-To=%3CCAL%2BdqvDABDg6Nkcqua-_uoBYc%3DzohuUyH-3SecWF5FnwOOTxEw%40mail.gmail.com%3E>)

Thunderbird only catches the mail adress, and the subject name, skipping
the end of the reference .... It creates a new thread in the list with
the same subject name, without displaying the content of the message I
want to reply....

I couldn't find any workaround, except copying extracts from the message
I want to reply ... but it always break the thread :(

NB if it is useful : My main computer is still stuck on Mandriva
2010.2 (not yet migrated to mageia, waiting for some missing packages
being pushed in updates-repo before upgrade) I use Firefox 3.6.22 and
Thunderbird 3.1.14

Thanks for your help...
Philippe
