I agree.  We have lots of other areas to put our packaging ressources.
As well, unless the policy has changed, users can get automatic update 
notices for Sun java.

Also, I've noticed that some (if not most) packages which required Sun 
java in the past (from upstream bug reports) now work well with OpenJDK.
