Early warning. -
[1] Mageia comes with grub-legacy, so be careful installing on UEFI. 
You'll need grub2 on it.

[2] Need to partition you whole hard disk as gpt and need some 
extraneaous partitions and need  flag it as 'boot'

So please read up more before you proceed.
