Are you sure that the problem is well understood? - then ignoring can be 
justified. But, that it goes away after a couple of seconds is certainly 
not correct - it keeps re-appearing, the reason why the term phantom 
imposed itself; happy to drop referring to it as a progress bar - as 
long as nobody calls it the Mageia phantom (-.
