I am not sure if it matters, and if not i can and will removing them,
but I found some Mandriva graphics here:
http://svnweb.mageia.org/soft/theme/mageia-theme/trunk/Mageia-Default/bootsplash/data/
all but 800x600 contain Mandriva graphics. and 800x600 is a very old
image, so if these files aren't used any more, then they should be
removed.

If needed, I will post this on the dev list as well.
