Those are pretty self documented regarding this aspect through
rpm -qpil:
drakx-installer-advertising:
the ads displayed while installing packages
drakx-installer-binaries:
the stage1 needed to bootstrap the stage2 (network(ftp|http|nfs|...)/cd/hd
method choice)
as well as the rescue GUI (when typing "rescue" at install CD's prompt)
drakx-installer-images:
various bits needed to build the install media (CDs, ...):
- boot kernel + needed modules
- alternative boot kernel
- isolinux + its conf
- the mini iso (build from stage1 & stage2)
(needs d-i-binaries to be build)
drakx-installer-rescue:
the actual rescue contents (all tools needed for rescue) as a squasfs image
(needs d-i-binaries to be build)
drakx-installer-stage2:
the installer stage2: the part that starts X, autoconfigure HW &
install packages
(as a squasfs image)
Latest bit is meta-task that provides rpmsrate which defines which
packages will get installed
