Just a question ...
what would happen if freeglut has a provides glut ?
If neither were installed, wouldn't one be given the option ? (as long as both are available in the 
repos) (as one sees often enough when installing packages)
And if both glut and freeglut were installed, and glut were subsequently uninstalled, would 
packages requiring glut continue to work ?
