[Mageia-dev] Graphical Mageia tools needs to be more friendly…

This is just a reminder to the developers.

Some of us, including me, are keyboard junkies and we
prefer to navigate our software from this device.
Unfortunately most of the tools today are mouse
oriented. Nothing wrong with that of course as we
usually have a mouse as well.

Unless you're (visually) impaired and can't use one…
Essential tools like rpmdrake are downright useless
to them in most cases as they lack hotkeys, label text/
descriptions and the crucial full control from the
keyboard. Thankfully we're not the only ones neglecting
this group, as most vendors do. But as Orca and GNOME are
reported to be pretty good, in some cases superior to the
more well known Windows equivalents, we can no longer leave
them in the dark and pretend that they doesn't use our
operating systems graphically.

Some of the key points above can also be adopted in general.
Our graphical tools needs to be more verbose than they're
are today. Remember which group we target and the sad state
of some of those users experience/skills. Some of them needs
to be spoon feed with information and I guess we could do that.

Let's show them that we're more than just zealots, hackers,
greasemonkeys and elitist by making something the common
person feels comfortable with too.

Sincerely,
Olav
