Oh, wait a minute.  My bad.  In order to boot isolinux, this machine has 
a local copy of the install files needed by an isolinux grub entry, and 
they're probably out-of-sync.  I'll re-test.

What threw me was the fact that this shows up after stage1 is loaded 
from the server.
