Booting with
rw rd.convertfs rd.break=pre-pivot

Using "exit" on 1st shell

(output given as follows)

exit
pre-pivot

dracut warning: Break before switch_root
dracut warning: Break before switch_root

Dropping to debug shell.

sh:0: can't access tty; job control off
switch_root:/#

(end output)

I type exit and the system continues booting.
