As an additional note:
We discussed this "color" issue between sips of beer last Friday and
there were also these points:

Almost all possible colors have been used by this or that
distribution, think of the different colors of the Mandriva editions.
so there is not much room for new colors - what IMHO makes the
difference is not the color on its own but the combination of color
and design.
So, yes we can use a color scheme which may be similar to another
distribution but will be quite different in design.
