I always try torrent where available.
google mageia torrent and you will find two at least, though not "official" i 
think.

Let the torrent start, then stop it, copy yuor before partly downloaded iso 
over the torrented one, and restart the torrent and it will check it and 
complete it.

With enough seeders which i hope we wil be in future, torrent rules, unless 
peers ISP try to stop torrents.

Down side of course is it is harder to keep count of number of downloads if we 
do not have one sole torrent tracker.
