[Mageia-discuss] Linux is a KERNEL not an OS

Taken from the front page of the openSuSe website:
openSUSE is a free and Linux-based operating system for your PC, Laptop or
Server. You can surf the web, manage your e-mails and photos, do office
work, play videos or music and have a lot of fun! 
No mention of GNU anywhere.

Honestly I agree that GNU should be acknowledged but trying to change the
meaning on Linux in the here and now to what is was supposed to be 18
years ago is not a losing battle it's one that has already been lost!
