[Mageia-discuss] mageia-app-db now has a mailing list

Hi,

I created a mailing list for mageia-app-db, for the project's contributors and 
followers. Discussion directly concerning mageia will still happen on mageia's 
mailing lists, but the more concrete work now happens on mageia-app-db's 
mailing list :

Also remember that we usually are available on #madb on freenode, that's where 
we can discuss in real time.

We updated the roadmap of the project, which in short is :
2011-03-31 : v0.2, regular synchronization from sophie + improve filtering UI
2011-04-30 : v0.3, user notifications, internationalization, LDAP integration
2011-05-31 : v0.4, Backports/package/testing requests and processes

It's a tight schedule, but we want to be ready for mageia's first stable 
release.

Production use of a without-all-features version could maybe start when 0.2 
will be released (it can be useful even without the complete feature set), but 
I have to discuss it more closely with the sysadmins to see what we can do in 
this regard and how.

P.S. : The name for the project has more or less been chosen, but at the 
moment its codename remains mageia-app-db (it's more urgent to make it work 
than to make the name change).
