Mageia first install

Machine :
Intel Core 2 duo 6600 (2.4Ghz) 4Go free memory
GeForce210 Nvidia Graphic card
Sound Card : CM 8738 (C-Media Electronic)
Printer : HP Photosmart 8250
Scanner : Epson Perfection 2400 photo

Installation performed on sda7 et sda8 partition of the main disk.

Bootloader set during the summary step on the sda7 partition.
Update during installation failed, although mirrors are set correctly and the 
first 3 packages (urpmi, gurpmi,...) installed. Core media CD was asked (and 
undetected) although already present in DVD reader.

First boot OK.
Update using MCC failed as mentionned above. I unchecked the CD Rom core media 
in the media source list and then the update of packages was easily performed.

Printer : unable to set up new printers using either MCC or system config 
printer. Freeze during the search process.

Scanner, need to be manually set to allow its detection by xsane.
Sound OK

Some others comments :

- Libreoffice : very slow to open (around 30 s). OpenOffice on mdv 2010.2 (1 s)
- Missing package for me :
kderootactions-servicemenu (rpm from mdv is usable)

kde4-style-qtcurve
qtcurve-gtk2
I use theses 3 rpm to configure my windows on mdv 2010, this avoid the use of 
IaOra-kde and lead to a highly configurable interface.
