I'm not sure if such subject is appropriate here, if it's not please
forgive my rudeness.

There is a hardware related issue in bugzilla that I would like if
more people could provide more info:

Bug 968 Cannot enable kde desktop effect for ATi X1200 series (RS690)

If you have Ati radeon X1900 or earlier which also use xorg radeon
driver and can reporduce this bug, please post comments in bug entry.
So I could expand affected hardware range and possibly raise severity.
