I use LuckyBackup which is really just a front-end for Rsync. The lucky 
backup in the Mageia MCC is v.0.4.5 but if you go to the LuckyBackup 
website[1] you can download the latest version v.0.4.6 which installs 
correctly on my Mageia box. It's a nice backup tool. Does pretty well 
all the type of backups that you can imagine and the GUI is quite user 
friendly.
