[Mageia-discuss] USB webcam prob

The problem: A USB web-camera that is not recognized under Mageia; 
it works under Windows XP, and, used to work under Mdv 2010.0.

The camera does connect:
root at localhost:/home/ron # lsusb
<snip>
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0458:704b KYE Systems Corp. (Mouse Systems)

but no link created to /dev/video0

Is there a way to create that link manually ?
