Gee, you should get out more. I know at least four here locally, and I
spend most of my time isolated on a farm. One is a cousin, another a
neighbor, and the other two are longtime fiends.
One used to be a PC guy, then Linux, and now is an Apple fan. He still
likes Linux OK, but likes Apple better these days. (Shrug.) His choice.
He keeps trying to get me to buy a Mac. When I plead expense, he points
out that there are used/refurbished ones available, and that there's a
LOT of low-cost/free Apple software around.
Aside from the above former Linux user and my brother, who uses what I
set up for him, I don't know any other local Linux users personally. And
quite frankly, I don't have a clue as to what most of the people I know
use, or even if many use a computer at all.
