I have no idea what I did to enable it, but I'm getting a functionality of displaying
the dimensions of the windows when resizing it in my KDE version.

Anyway, see:

Go to systemsettings -> Window Behaviour -> Window Behaviour -> Moving -> "Display window
geometry when moving or resizing".

I found it on a web search.
