Again, it's a matter of personal preference, but I'd much prefer to 
"reconfigure everything" than having to track down some obscure conflict 
not anticipated by the developers.

Not to mention that when there's a major change I like to try the new 
interface/configuration out for a while. Sometimes, not often I admit, I 
like the new better than the old.
