I've had no problem testing the basic applet with a wired and
wireless network interface, but I'm lacking in knowledge for
how to test the additional packages, ...

networkmanager-openconnect, networkmanager-openvpn,
networkmanager-pptp, and networkmanager-vpnc.

Anyone who would like to help testing those packages, they
can be installed with

urpmi.update Testing
urpmi --media "Core Updates Testing" networkmanager-openvpn
(replace the package name, as appropriate).

After testing, either reply to this message, with the
results (please include whether testing on i586 or x86-64),
or in the bug Reports.
