Well, first of all, people will always find something to complain about...
That said, and assuming you are referring to what I think you are
referring to... I think in that case the confusion is about what the
policy really is. The criteria as mentioned in the last meeting seem to
differ from what I read on the -dev list now. I don't care much one way or
the other, but I think here too being clear on the policy is the most
important thing.
Secondly, and I do mean this in the nicest and most constructive way...
it would not hurt if also other developers / council members would speak
their mind when such things come up. For this we need 1) them to speak up
more, 2) for you to not to speak on their behalf when you have not
consulted them yet.
