The rpmdrake bug has been fixed since the beta 2 iso was created.

Workaround is to install, don't do updates, after first boot use
urpmi --auto-update to update rpmdrake, or for an already broken database ...
# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock
# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/.RPMLOCK
Then run the urpmi --auto-update.
