Hi Papoteur

Did you also update ldetect-lst?

Testing procedure :

1. install ldetect-lst from core/updates_testing
2. go to mcc -> hardware -> configure the graphical server
3. it should now notify that there is a commercial/proprietary
   driver available, answer yes to "do you want to use it"
4. after it's installed, reboot and check that the new
   driver is in use and working...

This needs the medias configured to be able to update from Testing
medias and then Core Updates Testing and Nonfree Updates Testing enabled.

The update enables nvidia173 and nvidia96xx nonfree drivers as
they now support the x11-server used in mga2. The card list has been
updated so cards should use the correct driver.
