I was wondering about this before, and your message has reminded me.  
You could add my Identica to it :) some how: http://identi.ca/sebsebseb 
So that it will show my new messages on your site :). However with 
Identica it's about context when getting replies and people should be 
able to get onto the link for that easily as well in that case.

Any way Identica has RSS feeds for example.

I also think it's a very good idea to add the Identica Mageia group as 
well: http://identi.ca/group/mageia


I suggest sending a email to the Mageia discuss mailing list about your 
users planet website, and also starting a thread on the forum about it.
