I restarted xinetd to fix this error. It also happenned yesterday.

When connecting to rsync, connection was immediately closed :
$ telnet valstar.mageia.org rsync
Trying 212.85.158.147...
Connected to valstar.mageia.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.


In syslog, we had errors like this :
Mar 15 12:46:42 valstar xinetd[22848]: socket bind: Invalid argument (errno = 22)
Mar 15 12:46:42 valstar xinetd[22848]: Failed to contact identity server at ::ffff:
212.85.158.146: system error


Maybe this problem ?
