Some stuff is just obsolete. glib1 and ORbit are not maintained at all.
The last release was in 2002. If you'd file a bug against it it'll be
marked as obsolete.

IMO, better to focus on making a good distro. If stuff is packaged,
people should be able to trust they can file bugs and they get fixed.
That is not the case with glib1, ORbit and anything that relies on
these.
