The badly worded error message should be rewritten to something like ...

"Due to circular dependencies having been detected, all of the updates will
be processed in a single urpmi transaction.  Note that there will be a large
delay at the end, as the old versions of the packages are removed".

Try unlocking the widgets first (right click on desktop, then unlock widgets).
