According to the online dictionary from the University  of Munich, a ballot 
could be
1.) an election
2.) one round in an election with several
3.) the peace of paper, on which you mark your vote
4.) a poll of some kind or
5.) a free and secret election

I don't think, it helps to discuss this. I actually was hoping, Olivier - who 
as far as I know wrote epoll in the first place - would answer this, because he 
knows...

That's the point. Which of these two shell it be?

What do you mean? The subject is "Epoll need translation", at least it is in 
my mail client and on the archiv.

So it should be quite clear, this is about the translation of epoll and there 
is only one document to translate there...
