Checked: for now, we rely on upstream.

As soon as we are done with the basics (boot, install, backgrounds,
screensavers and splashscreens) this can be worked on (or in parallel
if we have enough hands). Feel free to submit your ideas anyway but
see our checklist for this week priorities as well. :-)
