Somehow related, i just did some rpm size comparisons for thunderbird
-l10n packages, to see what can be gained if we switch them back to
uncompressing the (zipped) .xpi files and so let them profit from
rpm binary payload compression. It's not much for a single package,
but overall it's a reduction by 35%.

Maybe this is a viable solution for other packages too, which currently
carry files which are already compressed when building.

Some numbers (total size of-l10n packages, followed by time output for
the build to see the cost of this switch)

----
.xpis unzipped -> using rpm default compression "_binary_payload w5.lzdio"

$ LC_ALL=C du -ch mozilla-thunderbird-*rpm
11M     total

182.92user 34.65system 3:55.54elapsed 92%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 188512maxresident)k
0inputs+482992outputs (0major+17025693minor)pagefaults 0swaps
----

----
not unzipping .xpis:

$ LC_ALL=C du -ch mozilla-thunderbird-*rpm
17M     total

20.89user 7.27system 0:31.57elapsed 89%CPU (0avgtext+0avgdata 109264maxresident)k
0inputs+356720outputs (0major+3218040minor)pagefaults 0swaps
----

Will commit for cauldron shortly, but it won't make it into beta1, sorry.
