Well... I'll bite... but:

remmy at winter:~/projects/mageia$ git clone 
git://git.mageia.org/git/forums.git
Cloning into forums...
git.mageia.org[0: 2a02:2178:2:7::3]: errno=Connection refused
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

And from a system without IPv6:

remmy at sammy:~/projects$ git clone git://git.mageia.org/git/forums.git
Cloning into forums...
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

Any ideas?
