According to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/783582 it should be fixed,
alas, I installed a snapshot of alsa driver (1.0.24.95.g779ed.1972.gf60a99) which
contains those patches but the mic still doesn't work (it does mute the speakers
when I connect the headphones though).
