The forums won't dissapear. The only downside is that users will need a
second password. But this should be negligible compared to the giants
benefits this will bring. If you read maat's emails you'll understand
that all the problems on the forums are caused by the incompetent
sysadmins and their awful setup, so all of this should disappear, and
everything will be perfect.

So recruit them as admin on the new forums.
